To mark the launch of ticket sales for his new Latvian tour, “Gaisā” (“In the Air”), illusionist Edžus staged one of his most extraordinary public performances to date on 30 June 2026 at the Origo Shopping Centre. Throughout the day, he appeared to defy the laws of gravity, levitating and seemingly floating through the air among shoppers and visitors.
The remarkable performance attracted hundreds of spectators. Passers-by stopped to capture the moment, witness the illusion from just a few metres away, and meet the illusionist in person. For many, it was the first time they had ever experienced such a spectacular levitation illusion live.
The event was also streamed live on TikTok throughout the day, featuring prize giveaways, audience competitions, and behind-the-scenes stories about the upcoming tour. At the same time, Edžus answered viewers’ questions in real time.
The performance at Origo symbolically marked the beginning of the “Gaisā” tour, inviting audiences to believe, if only for a moment, that even the impossible can become possible.
