In 2023, Edžus embarked on a special Latvia-wide tour with the show “Illusionist Edžus IN WATER,” performing in seven Latvian cities – Riga, Valmiera, Liepāja, Bauska, Ventspils, Jēkabpils, and Jelgava.
The tour combined grand-scale illusions, suspense, humor, and audience interaction into one energetic live experience. At the center of the program was a dangerous underwater escape act, alongside sleight of hand, psychological experiments, hypnosis elements, and interactive performances that made every evening unique.
A special atmosphere was created by the live musical accompaniment – a drummer performed on stage together with Edžus, bringing dynamic energy and intensity throughout the entire show. The music became an essential part of the performance, amplifying tension and emotion during the biggest illusion moments.
While preparing for the tour, new illusion props were developed, technically complex tricks were rehearsed, and special show elements were created to deliver an experience never before seen in Latvia. Even the tour announcement itself became a major event — Edžus carried out special challenges and publicity stunts that attracted widespread audience and media attention.
“Illusionist Edžus IN WATER” became one of the most attended and visually spectacular tours in Edžus’ career, gathering audiences from all across Latvia.
